Randy pitched in the Major Leagues for 10 years, eight years with the San Diego Padres. His best years were 1975 & 1976. In 1975 he was a 20 game winner with a 2.24 ERA. He was selected that year for the National League All-Star Team (first Padres pitcher ever selected for the All-Star Team). In 1976, he won the Cy Young Award as the Most Valuable Pitcher in the National League. That year he won 22 games. He won exactly 100 games in his career, pitched 2,650 innings. Married with two daughters, he lives in San Diego.
