Marc Bailey

Marc is happy to be back home in San Diego as anchor for Fox 6 in the Morning. It was during his years growing up here in San Diego that he realized he wanted to be a broadcaster. Before pursuing that dream, however, he wanted to spend time in service to the community, which led to three and a half years as a San Diego police officer. Marc’s broadcasting career started locally at KOGO radio. He honed his television skills on the national cable networks E! Entertainment Television, HBO, and CNN. Before he returned to San Diego, Marc was the lead anchor at KNXV-TV in Phoenix and morning anchor at WAGA in Atlanta.

Marc currently serves as the Vice President of the San Diego Prevention Coalition.. He is also active in youth sports, serving on the Alpine Parks Committee, working to provide sports fields for the families of the East County.

He lives in Alpine, with his wife and two children, having come back to San Diego County to raise those kids near the family and friends that have always been so supportive.

Marc has emceed JDRF’s Walk to Cure Diabetes for several years and we welcome him to our Gala again this year.
